Scientific Consultation: Services include providing advice to individual researchers in preparing EPR-related sections of proposals for extramural funding, assisting researchers on the design of prospective experiments or studies, conducting or giving advice concerning data analysis, and planning or executing computational analyses. Collaborative Research: The EPR Lab can assist individuals or groups in assembling an appropriate team of scientists to provide the expertise that a particular interdisciplinary research project might require. Such collaboration will typically involve Giulivi’s Lab staff and/or associate members of the lab, and may involve a research assistant. This work might include, but is not limited to, the design of experiments, implementation, problem specification set-ups for use of software, and data interpretation. Consultation and Collaborative Research Rates:

Internal Clients: Registered UC Davis Graduate Students: No charge for thesis/dissertation related advice; $100 per hour for associated analyses. Please bring a copy of your Advanced to Candidacy document to the first meeting. UCD Faculty and Staff: No charge for the first hour of consultation per project, then recharged to a grant or the department at $100 per hour.

University Affiliates: No charge for the first hour of consultation per project, then charged for services from Lab personnel at $100 per hour and variable salary hourly rates per hour for services from Lab associate members

External Clients:External clients are charged $150 per hour for services from Lab personnel. Variable hourly rates are charged for services from associate members

Education/Training: Special purpose presentations, as well as equipment training can be arranged on a recharge basis. Inquiries regarding this service should be directed to Sarah Wong.

Contracted Studies: The EPR Lab can perform research and interpretation analysis on a contract basis. For information on this service, and for a document describing relevant University and laboratory policies on such consultation, contact Dr. Giulivi.
