Sample Submission
If you would like our diagnostic lab to process your samples, please download one of our sample submission forms. Those requesting EPR services must download the EPR submission form than those requiring lactate/pyruvate or thiamine status. Email your completed sample submission form to the corresponding contact person for the service you are requesting. Lactate/pyruvate ratios and thiamine status requests can be completed using the bioenergetics submission form. We will email you within 1-2 days to schedule the next available time slot we can run your samples. Once our lab has scheduled to run your samples, please let us know 1 day in advanced what time you will be dropping off your samples by phone at 530-752-1038 or email the corresponding contact person. Services that require samples to be run fresh must be dropped off no later than 10 a.m. to allow us enough time to process your samples and before 3pm. Turn-around time for samples submitted is typically 1-2 weeks depending on the requested services. Samples can be dropped off to our lab at: Rm 3016, Vet Med 3B. Please include a copy of your sample submission form with your samples so our lab can sign off on receipt of your samples.
